cap recycling

by Hiroki Yanagisawa on October 14, 2009 8:20 AM

As introduced before, Japan is known for very enthusiastic on the separation of trash.

Nowadays, it extends to a plastic bottle's cap and bottle.
A cap is mainly made from polypropylene and and a bottle is PET, polyethylene terephthalate. When it comes to recycling, they need to be separated.

But a concern is, the cap box only says "cap collection box." It doesn't really say what to do with it. It would be really nice to know if this cap is being simply thrown away, or properly recycled.
